With 2,112 feet of vertical and 225 skiable acres of terrain, Wildcat offers plenty of challenge for your skiing holidays. Its trails wind and twist their way across the face of the mountain, giving skiers and riders a true New Hampshire skiing experience. Skiers and riders are whisked to the summit of the mountain via the Wildcat Express, a 6,700-foot, top-to-bottom, high-speed, detachable quad chairlift that gets you to the top in 6 minutes. Once at the 4,062-foot summit, you’ll want to cruise down the legendary Lynx or Wildcat trails, both offering classic views of the 6,288-foot Mt. Washington and Tuckerman Ravine. With 47 trails total, there are also 25 acres of glade skiing and many hidden stashes in the trees. For beginners and intermediates (or experts just looking for a relaxing run), the nearly three-mile-long, incredibly scenic Polecat is a favorite. Wildcat also has the Snowcat novice area served by its own chairlift and a great place for beginners in ski school to learn to ski and snowboard.

Whatever trail you choose, you’ll enjoy Wildcat’s spectacular scenery that readers of SKI Magazine have consistently voted #1scenery in North America. Another way to enjoy that scenery is to Fly Wildcat on the ZipRider, New England’s only 4-season continuous ½ mile zip-line cable ride. For great food and cozy aprés ski fun, check out the Wildcat Pub, located on the upper level of the base lodge, where you may feast on hearty meals and appetizers at reasonable prices.
