Cannon Mountain, in New Hampshire's spectacular Franconia Notch State Park, offers some of the most exciting skiing/riding in the east. While Cannon Mountain has a justifiable reputation for challenging and exciting expert trails, our newly-expanded Brookside Area offers skiing/riding for the entire family, with nine beginning and intermediate trails, and two lifts. The Brookside Learning Center offers all-day and part-day programs, as well as childcare for children ages six weeks and older.

The rest of the mountain offers some of the more challenging terrain as well as glades. Cannon Mountain's historic roots are evident in the design of the older trails, which tend to be somewhat narrow and winding. When North America's first Aerial Tramway was installed in 1938, it would have been hard to believe that, 67 years later, Cannon Mountain would be a major New England ski area.

The only New Hampshire ski area located directly on I-93, Cannon Mountain is remarkably easy to get to.
